Children are very important at FCC and we offer many ways for children from birth through 5th grade to grow spiritually. Spiritual growth is not a given, it is a choice. At FCC, we make it a fun choice with programs that encourage interest and growth in understanding while under-girding our goals for Children’s Ministry. FCC has many activities that foster Bible reading, memorization, stewardship, and application.
Sunday mornings, we offer:

FCC El Reno is a Disciples of Christ congregation. Disciples do not have a set theology, but instead fellowship together in unity. Disciples believe in the Bible, God, Christ as God's Son, Public Confession, Inclusive Ministry (all members are "ministers" entitled to interpret scripture and perform church functions).
Worship is a time for Christians to join together corporately, to praise and honor Jesus Christ, to give thanks and offerings of ourselves, to confess, to repent, and learn. At First Christian Church we come together every Sunday to gather as one people of Christ, to renew our faith, to share in our experiences, and to gather the strength needed to reach and minister to a lost world.
We use both contemporary and traditional music, vocal and instrumental solos, choral music, Bible readings, and prayers. We also celebrate communion every Sunday (all baptized may join us), as well as having a time to give of ourselves in an offertory. Our services conclude with a sermon, an invitation for commitment and discipleship, and a benediction.
The organization of the First Christian Church of El Reno, Oklahoma, began with the settlement of Oklahoma Territory in the winter of 1889-1890 and celebrated its 125th anniversary the fall of 2015. Currently, FCC has over 300 active members and participates regularly in the community.

Members of FCC participate in Blessing Baskets, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity and many other local organizations and events. FCC recently established a CARE ministry with the city of El Reno to help local citizens with house projects who are unable to make improvements themselves.
